Playdates and More

I've had this post just sitting in my drafts for a couple days now and I should really do something about it!
Molly actually has had a pretty big week. The biggest thing that she has achieved is crawling. While she isn't graceful or efficient, she is definitely getting from A to B, assuming you provide her some motivation. Along these same lines, she is now able to go from laying down to sitting up. That was kind of funny because she just started doing it without any fanfare or effort. One minute she couldn't, next minute she could. That of course meant that we had lower her crib down so she wouldn't attempt any triple gainers out of the crib.
Also new on the Molly front are some new interesting sounds. When she's in her high chair eating puffs, that's when she really goes to town babbling away. By far her favorite new noise now is growling. You can check out the video to get a sample.

She's pretty vicious! I like to think she's practicing for Halloween or something :-)

I don't really have much for the rest of the post but I do have some pictures that I've been meaning to get up on here.

Ramsey and I have been getting together on Wednesdays every once in awhile, we do it first thing in the morning since that seems to be the only time that Molly and Grayson are coordinated.

Playing Nice!

Hanging out and looking cute.

Here's a picture from Blaine's birthday party a few weeks ago. I had thought that this was Molly's first trip to Lute's Casino, but we do end up there a lot...so I'm not so sure.
The next two are just some cute ones that Mere took the other day.

Crack Baby

Now I know that a real "crack baby" probably wouldn't be this happy, but sometimes Molly gets so riled up, you'd think she was on something. This video is a good example of her going bat shit! Also notice that her waving skills are getting better.

I don't really have much for this post but I thought I would get one more in before Grandma and Grandpa come home from Missouri. They were gone a whole month this time, so we're very eager for them to get back to Yuma.

It took me awhile to get this picture off my phone, but I finally did it. This picture was from a few weeks ago when Jonny took Molly and I ditch fishing. Jonny's been on a fishing kick lately, but he likes to do it Somerton style...in a ditch.

This picture is for Grandpa, he's been wanting to put Molly in a bucket and cart her around since she was born. I don't think she's quite ready yet, but I thought we should get her used to the concept

Pig faced Molly in a bucket.

I'm still over the dogs, but Molly is just getting to know them, here she is scooching over to see what Riley feels like. It's funny, she always screams and laughs at them, me I just scream at them.

Lately Molly does these little Jane Fonda style leg lifts, it's pretty cute

Down....and Up!

Work it Molly work it! Feel the burn!

Molly the Sailor Girl

Evey time I look at this picture I just crack up. My sister in law Stephanie saw my previous blog and how I wished I had the computer savvy to edit the picture with a pipe and she totally nailed it and completed the Popeye look with a sailor hat. I love it! Thanks Steph!

Well Molly has been up to a lot of things in the past week or so. The most exciting thing for me has been the purchase of a high chair. I had been putting off buying one because we don't have a lot of space for extra furniture but I decided that feeding her without one is just too difficult. It's the best thing ever. It does make my kitchen a little more cramped than it already is, but it's worth it. She really likes it and will even sit in it and just hang out and bang things around while I'm doing the dishes and cleaning up, which is awesome.

Here's Molly in her high chair with her sippy cup. She is completely in love the sippy cup and loves to drink little sips of water throughout the day. I haven't given her anything else in it, she's in love with water, so I'm not too worried about trying juice or mojitos or anything else in it yet.

These picture below are what led me to buying the high chair. We had resorted to feeding her in her jump jump. The bumbo never really worked because she was always trying to escape and we moved the swing to make room for the jump jump. You can imagine how difficult it is to feed a baby in this contraption, especially when she figured out how to jump jump. At least it was comical.
"This sucks!"

We give up. Just give it to Riley.

Yesterday Jonny had to leave on a trip for work. Molly was pretty sad so she tried to hitch a ride with him. I should note that she got into this position by herself...kind of scary.

Daddy's little Stow away!

This is funny, we have a similar picture of Dink when she was a puppy.

As you can imagine this is an action shot that ended in tears. Her balance isn't 100% so right after this picture was taken she was on the ground. Boo Hoo!
This video shows what Molly has really been working on lately: Crawling. Thankfully she isn't proficient yet. But I need to seriously think about baby proofing for sure.

Molly Mac, Rocking, Rolling and whatnot!
