It's mostly fallish now so we've been up to the things that you do in the fall.
Like comfortably walking to the park to meet friends. It was still kind of warm of course and Maggie did get cranky on the walk home (there is just so much damn sun everywhere!) but no one got heat stroke. It wasn't anything that stripping down naked once you cross the threshold couldn't fix.
Halloween baby yoga! As Maggie likes to call it. Ramsey and I took Jed and Maggie to PLAY. Maggie loved her mask. Molly was jealous.
She also got some creepy assesories in a fun gift bag from there.
Tie-dye! Anything done outside feels like fall when you're in Yuma, so tie-dye counts. Jessica and Bryn brought over the supplies. In case you're shopping for tie dye supplies, you should know that "9 projects" = 3 kids doing the project themselves.
Dance birthday parties! Everyone we know was born from September To December. It's definitely birthday party season!
School festivals! Of course we aren't even done with them yet. This was just the family night. The official Barn Bash is in 2 weeks. So many things to do!
Maggie is kind of a funny kid. I was buckling Molly up and she starts laughing. Look over and find her like this. "Buckle me!"
The other day I called her in to the bathroom to brush her teeth. I just casually (not even accusingly) asked her if she put the band aids on the faucet? She dead pans "I think it was always like that". No laughing, nothing.
Of course Halloween! Friday was the school parade. The girls were Odd Squad agents. I thought it was awesome!
Saturday we started out trick or treating at the downtown stores. We're pretty much obligated to do that since we are thoroughly downtown people.
Andrea Hauck has a new studio downtown and was taking pictures as a fundraiser for a family in town. They turned out so cute.
"Bitch Please"..is what an odd squad agent would say if the show wasn't on PBSkids. That's just Maggie's opinion.
Although she looked adorable, Maggie had a hard time with physically wearing the costume. Everything is "too tight" she never wore the shoes or the pants. She instead wore a pair of yo gabba gabba vans and Molly's giant jeggings. By the time we headed out for trick or treating at night, she was over it and came up with her own costume. We think it's vaguely Madona inspired. She called it a "ballerina" costume.
We did our night time trick or treating with the Hermenaus at a neighborhood near their house. The girls had a blast and now have entirely too much candy. They're seriously acting like addicts "when can I have another peice?"
"What do I have to do?"
"You promised!" (I didn't)

My Christmas room. This is about all I can manage as far as decorating goes, so it pretty much stops at this room.
We bought Dink a new bed and Maggie rode around Sam's club like this.

The kid's had a blast at Colbie's 5th birthday! This was their favorite activity: Playing with the drain pipe. They would push it up the hill, get inside and roll it down. Molly came home with some scratches, but I think it was worth it. I told Ramsey, "I know what the girls are going to ask for for Christmas!"
Haircuts! They are always wanting to chop off their hair. There was no sense in fighting it. We're all very happy now.
