Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens? I know the whole song and could go on, but I will spare you. Since Molly recently experienced her least favorite thing (vaccinations) I thought I would focus on the positive and share Molly's favorite things. But first real quick...Molly weighed in at 13lbs 2 oz and 2ft, and apparently her head has been growing extremely well which shows she is one smart cookie! On to the favorite things.

Molly's first love has been her fist. My mom said that when she was being evaluated right after birth, she was already plotting how to get it into her mouth. In the last few weeks she's gotten very good at achieving this and has even discovered that her fingers are pretty sweet too. It goes back to the whole flesh eating baby thing...she is not interested in sucking on pacifiers, she wants her fist.

Well as everyone saw in the first post saying "oh" is definitely fun. She pretty much loves talking in general and has even extended her vocabulary to include "
ahh" "boo" and "
Ahh-Boo". This leads me to Molly's favorite place to talk...laying on her back. Tummy time is not her thing. We do it for brief moments to try to build up her strength, but she would rather be on her back checking out the world around her.

Another great thing to check out while laying down is her tiny love symphony in motion mobile. This thing should be illegal because it is totally a baby hallucinogenic drug. When she is watching this thing she is totally tripping balls...Blowing chunks to the milky way. That's an obscure reference, anyone get it? Here's a Molly's eye view.

Another way to blow her mind is to turn on the T.V. Yes, yes I've already started rotting her brain, but what I believe she love are the colors and light. She'll watch anything, but favorites are Baseball, Golf and Sesame Street...particularly Elmo. I hate Elmo so I'm going to say that she likes him because he's red. here she is distracted by our giant TV.

The Latest thing that Molly loves is for you to kick her in the face with her own foot. I'm not sure why she's masochistic like that, but to her it is freaking hilarious. As with most of the things that make her smile,
Jonny discovered this.
Jonny is an expert of the good times and I seem to be the expert of the bad. It's hard to take a picture of this...I did my best, as you can see she's enjoying it so don't call CPS just yet.

Which brings me to the obvious thing that Molly loves...ME! She's already starting to display the beginnings of preferring me. She's started to look for me when she hears me and when she's upset she would usually rather be with me...it's probably just the boobs...but I think its kind of cute. I realize though that this will probably become a burden if I'm the only one that can take care of her, as I mentioned before this is more difficult than I had previously thought. Here we our spending some quality time after a meal.
Well that's it for now, we have a big weekend planned with Michaela, Dustin and Landon (of Burgess Baby Blog fame) I can't wait for Molly to meet them for the 1st time!
